We tested a number of different stages and concluded that 5 additional stages of filtration was the sweet spot for being highly effective and efficient. The Stages Are : 1) 7 Micron Woven medium that removes sand, dust, and sediment 2) FIR Ceramic Balls that break down water and soften it on a molecular level 3) A super fine antibacterial filter 4) A super powerful Activated Carbon filter to remove heavy metals, THM, and more 5) a 2nd stage Antibacterial Layer that is tighter than the first layer to polish the water and deliver perfectly clean, clear, and pure water in your shower.  
Q: How does the Vitamin C filter work? 
Vitamin C Filters are the backbone of the creation of our small, family business. The term "FILTER" usually invokes a medium that "captures" or "traps" a toxin and hold it in the membrane or medium. This is not the case with Vitamin C Filters.
